This Cancellation & Refund Policy (“Policy”) forms part of the Terms of Use for TeachBetter.ai, operated by TBAI Solutions Private Limited (“TeachBetter.ai”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By purchasing or using any subscription, you agree to this Policy.
1. Overview
- Advance, prepaid access. All plans and licenses are sold on a prepaid basis for a fixed validity period (“Term”).
- No auto-renewal. Subscriptions do not automatically renew. Access ends when the Term expires unless you make a new purchase.
2. Cancellations
- Because plans are prepaid and non-renewing, mid-Term cancellations are not offered.
- You may stop using the service at any time; your access will remain active until the end of the paid Term.
- Not purchasing a new plan after expiry is effectively your “cancellation.”
3. No Refunds
All payments are final, non-refundable, and non-transferable to the maximum extent permitted by law. This includes (without limitation) cases such as:
- Change of mind, limited use, or dissatisfaction with features or results.
- Unused or partially used Term (no pro-rata credits).
- Plan changes (upgrade/downgrade), seat reductions, or account deletion.
- Inactivity, user error, or issues arising from your devices, networks, or third-party services.
- Promotional pricing seen after purchase, coupons not applied, or price changes over time.
- Account suspension or termination due to breach of our Terms, AUP, or applicable law.
- Payment gateway fees, currency conversion differences, or applicable taxes.
Note: In rare cases where a refund is required by applicable law, we will comply with that law and process only the minimum refund mandated.
4. Trials, Free Access & Credits
- Any free trials, demo access, or complimentary credits have no cash value, are not refundable, and may be modified or revoked at our discretion.
- Converting from a trial to a paid plan is a prepaid purchase subject to this Policy.
5. Service Availability & Downtime
- We aim for high availability, but service interruptions do not entitle you to refunds.
- At our discretion, we may issue non-cash service credits toward a future purchase; such credits are not guaranteed and cannot be redeemed for cash.
6. Payments, Taxes & Chargebacks
- Prices are inclusive of taxes unless stated. Taxes and payment processing fees are non-refundable.
- Initiating a chargeback may lead to immediate suspension/termination of access. We reserve the right to dispute chargebacks and recover associated costs.
7. Purchases via Resellers/Marketplaces
If you purchased through a reseller, app store, or marketplace, their billing and refund terms apply. We cannot process refunds for third-party purchases.
8. Data Access After Expiry
After your Term ends, access to paid features stops. We may provide a limited read-only window (if available) for you to export content; availability and duration are not guaranteed. We recommend exporting any needed content before expiry.
9. Policy Updates
We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when updates are posted. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing Law & Venue
This Policy is governed by Indian law. Dispute resolution and venue are as specified in our Terms of Use.
